iPad Cooking Game Announced: Fat Kids May Have Hope After-All
A new iPad cooking game was announced today! If you have a kid who refuses to eat anything other than a nasty ass chicken “finger” you may be in luck.
Goodhustle Studios announced an iPad cooking game called Yum Num’s Galaxy which is aimed at getting kids to think differently about food using technology.
This is a fantastic idea and it couldn’t have come at a better time if you ask me. People are so lazy that they are just giving their kids whatever they want to eat regardless of nutrition.
In my day (and that wasn’t THAT long ago) you had two choices for dinner…take it or leave it! I stole that joke from Twitter FYI…I can’t remember where I saw it though.
But seriously. In this day and age, kids decide that they want to eat some nasty ass crap, and the sissy parents give in to avoid a fight. What’s worse is when these slobs will say something like “well if I don’t let little Johnny have his chicken fingers he won’t eat anything”.
HE WILL EAT IF YOU DON’T GIVE IN!
Yum Num’s Galaxy to the rescue! The software company created the app for the iPad so that kids can help create healthy meals while doing the one thing that every kid loves…having fun! I have no problem with hiding education in something fun and exciting, I’m sure most of what I learned as a kid was under such a ruse.
The idea here is that they child playing the game will get a mission to accomplish in the game. Of course that mission is to create something delicious, with the gathering of the ingredients being the actual mission objectives. Sounds simple enough I guess.
If you want to see some actual gameplay good luck though. I have only been able to find the official video for Yum Num’s Galaxy on their website, which features a kid yelling the names of some foods…
So if you have a fat little picky kid in your home, this app may be the way to go so that he doesn’t end up with heart failure at age 14 like most of his friends will get in this lazy society.
